I just moved back to Harnett Co and heard of Daniel's death. He was such a great part of my childhood and I was lucky enough to see him again a few years before he died. It is so unbelievable that he is gone. He was so special. I remember him coming to one of my birthday parties and didn't know what to get a girl--he brought a bag of costume jewlery or whatever he thought I would like. It is like yesterday I see him eating ice cream walking over the bridge at Pullen Park. My condolences to his family. I know a part of you is gone. I am so very sorry.
