Daniel Flemming Latta

One of the best memorys is when Daniel wanted to ride the go cart but he couldn't because it had no gas so Joe tied a rope to the four weller and tied the other end to the go cart and they turned on the four weller and had Daniel sit in the go cart and they rode around!       Love Chey!

I will never forget the wonderful times I had with you.I really miss you.You were the BEST uncle i ever had...You always made me laugh and feel really good.You stayed with me through thick and thin.Yesterday April 30,2007 was to years since you passed away it doesnt seem like its been that long..I still feel like I'm in a dream.I love you more than words can say.You are missed and loved by everyone.R.I.P Daniel Latta

I have so many good memories. Sometimes something I hadn't thought of in a long time will pop into my head and I just feel so grateful for each memory that has somehow stayed with me all this time. 

I remember Daniel signing me out of school early once. I don't think he was supposed to be able to do that, but he probably charmed the office lady into it. I was so surprised to get called out of class and to find him waiting there. I think we went to Burger King. But, it didn't matter where we were, when we were together we always had fun and always laughed. Once, when I was trying to impress a boy at a Valentine's church function, Daniel made me laugh so hard that potatoes went up my nose. And they had lots of pepper on them so I started sneezing and couldn't stop. How embarassing! Once, Daniel and I rode all the way home from the beach in the back of Schel's truck with all the luggage. Of course, we were both sun burned by the time we got home and were pretty miserable, but we had the best time back there, singing and laughing and making fun of people. That was the beautiful thing about Daniel -- he made you do crazy things! But when you were with him, the crazy things didn't seem so crazy -- just seemed like fun. I try to remember that feeling now and I remind myself to take a risk -- be spontaneous -- have fun, just like Daniel would do.

One of my best memories with Daniel is when he took me Bungee Jumping for my 40th birthday,just  the two of us left early in the morning and went to Myrtle Beach,he took me to bungee and the out for a nice lunch,It was my best birthday ever and after we jumped he looked at me and said I didn't believe you would jump,but then he said we are just alike aren't we,he loved jumping and so did I.It is a day I will never forget.
